The Erect Group was founded in 1981 as Sante Scaffolding, a metal scaffolding specialist. One of the first scaffolding companies approved by Singapore’s Housing and Development Board (HDB), we grew steadily over the next decade. By the 1990s, we had been involved in the construction of over 100,000 units of HDB flats.
From 1994, we began expanding our product portfolio to offer our clients a wider choice of access equipment, including heavy duty shoring scaffoldings, ring-system scaffoldings, mast climbing work platforms, gondolas, passenger cum material hoists, scissor lifts, material loading platforms and tower cranes.
Our operations kept pace with our expanding product range. In 2000, we moved into a new, larger factory space. After 2000, this proved inadequate for our growing business, and we acquired our second and third plant. To meet growing demand in the region, we also ventured into new geographical markets in recent years.
All this growth was accompanied by a mounting reputation. In 2003, we were conferred the HDB Quality Award for remarkable product quality and service. And in 2007, we were listed as the owner of the world’s fifth largest mast climbing work platform fleet (and Asia’s largest) by Access International magazine.
Today, the Erect Group is acknowledged as not only one of the most established access companies in Singapore but also a global leader in the field.
